Product Pages

A product page is the page a customer lands on when they click into a specific product on your store — it's where they see the photos, read the description, choose a variant like size or color, and decide to buy. In Omnikyo, product pages aren't a separate, special system: they're built with the exact same section-based builder you use for the rest of your store.

Why This Matters

Because your product page is built out of the same sections and the same inspector panel described in Store Builder, anything you already know about editing your homepage or any other page applies directly here. There's nothing extra to learn — you add, remove, and reorder sections, and adjust each one's color scheme, spacing, typography, and animation the same way everywhere in your store.

What Makes Up a Product Page

A product page is built from a small set of product-specific sections working together, each customizable the same way as any other section in the builder:

  • Media gallery — shows all of a product's photos and video, with support for zoom and for showing different images depending on which variant a customer has selected (so picking "Red" shows the red photos, for example).
  • Buying block — the core purchase area: the product title, price (with the original price struck through when it's on sale), the variant picker for options like size or color, a quantity selector, the buy buttons (add to cart and buy now), and the product description. Unavailable variant combinations are shown as disabled so customers never pick something out of stock.
  • Recommendations row — a grid of other products the customer might also like. This can show automatically related products or a hand-picked collection you choose yourself.

Beyond these three, you can also add any of your store's general-purpose sections to a product page — trust badges, an FAQ block, testimonials, and so on — the same way you would on any other page. Every section on a product page can be added, removed, reordered, restyled, or replaced, including swapping in a custom section you've built yourself.

Customizing the Layout

Because the product page is a template made of sections, any change you make to that template — moving the gallery, adding a trust-badges row above the description, dropping in an FAQ section, or restyling the buy buttons — applies to the layout every product uses. You're designing the shape of the product page once, and every product in your catalogue is displayed through it.

This is powerful: instead of manually redesigning every single product one at a time, you shape the experience once in the builder and it carries through your entire catalogue automatically.

What Applies to One Product vs. Every Product

It's worth understanding the split between the two things that come together on a product page:

  • The layout (which sections appear, in what order, and how they're styled) is set once in the store builder and applies to every product.
  • The content (a specific product's name, price, photos, description, and stock) comes from that individual product's own listing in your product catalogue, which you manage separately when you create or edit a product.

In other words, editing the product page template shapes how every product is presented; editing a product itself changes what's shown within that shape.

The Product Card

Before a customer ever reaches the full product page, they usually see a product card — the compact preview shown in grids on your homepage, catalogue page, collection pages, and search results. A product card typically shows the product's image, name, and price, and flags clearly when an item is out of stock. Clicking a card takes the customer to the full product page described above.

Product cards are part of whichever section displays them — for example, a product grid section on your homepage or catalogue page — so styling a product grid section in the builder changes how every card inside it looks.
