Step one
Disconnect your accounts.
Disconnecting stops Omnikyo from receiving or sending anything on your behalf, immediately, and we delete the stored access tokens. Use whichever is easiest.
In Omnikyo
Open Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect next to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
This also removes Omnikyo from your Facebook settings.
On Facebook
Open Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Omnikyo and click Remove.
On Instagram
Open Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, select Omnikyo and click Remove.
Step two
Ask us to delete your data.
Messages already in your inbox stay until you ask. Any of these starts a request, and we erase the data within 30 days.
From Facebook
When you remove Omnikyo in Business integrations, also choose to send a deletion request. Facebook gives you a confirmation code and a link back here to check it.
By email
Write to [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”, from your Omnikyo account email, naming the business, Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number. We confirm within 3 working days.
Close your account
Email us to close your Omnikyo account, and all of your business’s data is deleted.
What gets deleted
Everything we received from you.
- Access tokens and the list of connected Pages, Instagram accounts, WhatsApp numbers, ad accounts, datasets and catalogs
- Messages, media, comments and call records received from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
- Profile names and pictures of the people who messaged you
- Ad and insights data synced from your ad accounts
- If you close your account: your products, orders, customers and all other business data
We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices for Omnikyo fees, and backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. Data already sent to Meta, such as posts you published or conversion events, is held by Meta under its own policies and can be managed in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
Shopped or chatted with a business?
If you’re their customer.
If you messaged or bought from a business that uses Omnikyo, that business controls your information. Contact the business directly, or email [email protected] with the business’s name, and we will pass your request on and help them delete it.
