Settings & Team Roles
Settings is where you manage your business profile, your preferences, the outside services you connect to, and — just as importantly — who on your team can see and do what. Nothing here is one-size-fits-all: every tab, and every action inside every tab, can be shown to some team members and hidden from others based on the access an owner has granted them.

Getting to Settings
Open Settings from the sidebar. It's organized into five tabs:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Account | Your personal profile and your business's public details |
| General | Personal preferences and defaults for how you use Omnikyo |
| Tracking | Meta Pixel and Conversions API setup, for measuring ad performance |
| Integrations | The outside services and apps you've connected, and their credentials |
| Locations | Your warehouses and outlets, and which orders get fulfilled from where |
You will only ever see the tabs — and the buttons inside them — that you've been given access to. If a tab is missing from your view, it isn't broken; someone with permission to manage roles simply hasn't turned it on for you. An owner can see and use all five by default.
There is no separate billing or plan page inside Settings. Omnikyo's pricing is usage-based and applied automatically behind the scenes — there's nothing for you to configure. See Pricing, in Brief below or the FAQ for how it works.
Account
The Account tab covers two things, switched with a pill selector at the top: Personal and Business.
Personal
This is you — your name, your login email, and your phone number. Changing your email sends a confirmation link to the new address before it takes effect, so nobody can quietly hijack your login by mistyping an email. Your phone number should be a Bangladeshi number; it's used for things like courier communication and account recovery.
From here you can also strengthen how you sign in:
- Link Google — sign in with your Google account instead of typing a password.
- Biometric login (passkey) — register your device's fingerprint, face unlock, or PIN so you can sign in without a password at all, on that device.
Business
This is what your customers and partners see: your business name, address, and website. Your store URL (the omnikyo.com web address customers use to reach your storefront) is shown here too, but it's locked in permanently once your account is created and can't be changed later — choose carefully during onboarding.
General
General holds personal preferences that only affect how Omnikyo looks and behaves for you — they don't change anything for the rest of your team.
- Full-screen order forms — switches order screens (viewing, creating, editing, and exchanges) from a centered pop-up window to a full-screen panel. Useful if you find pop-up windows cramped, especially on a laptop or tablet.
- Theme pack — an optional full re-skin of your own dashboard's look and feel. This is purely cosmetic and personal to you; it doesn't touch your storefront design or affect what your customers or teammates see.
Tracking
The Tracking tab is where you connect Meta's ad-measurement tools so that sales on your storefront can be attributed back to the Facebook or Instagram ads that drove them. This matters if you run ads — without it, Meta has no way of knowing which of your ads actually led to a sale.
- Meta Pixel — a small tracking snippet tied to a unique ID from your Meta account. Once added, it reports storefront activity like page views and completed orders back to Meta.
- Conversions API (CAPI) — a more reliable, server-side companion to the Pixel. Browsers increasingly block tracking scripts, so CAPI sends the same event data directly from Omnikyo's servers to Meta, which catches conversions the Pixel alone would miss.
- Test event code — an optional code from Meta's Events Manager that lets you confirm events are arriving correctly before you rely on them for real reporting.
Setting this up is entirely optional, and most of the values you need come straight from your Meta Business account. Full guidance on running the ad side of things — campaigns, budgets, and results — is in Meta Ads.
Integrations
Integrations is where you connect Omnikyo to the outside services your business depends on, and manage the credentials (API keys, tokens, account IDs) each one needs. Every connection here shows a clear status — connected, not connected, or needing attention — so you always know at a glance what's live.
Services you can connect include:
- Shopify — if your catalog lives on Shopify, connect it here to bring products and orders into Omnikyo and keep them in sync.
- Meta Ads — connect your ad account so campaign spend and performance flow into your reports. See Meta Ads.
- bKash — accept bKash as a checkout payment method on your storefront. See Checkout & Payments.
- Pathao and Steadfast — your courier accounts, so you can dispatch and track deliveries without leaving Omnikyo. See OmniShip.
You can also start a bulk product import or a Shopify product sync from this tab. Every credential you enter here is only ever visible to team members with permission to see Integrations — and secret values, once saved, are never shown back in full.
Every one of these connections is optional and can be set up at any time — none of them block you from taking orders and running your store.
Locations
Locations covers your warehouses and outlets — the physical (or virtual) places you hold stock and fulfill orders from. If you only operate out of one place, this tab stays out of your way; Omnikyo only surfaces the extra complexity of multiple locations once you actually add a second one.
From here you can add, edit, and remove locations, mark one as your default, and set rules for which location should automatically fulfill orders coming from a particular channel — your storefront, a point-of-sale, Shopify, or manually entered orders. For the full picture of how stock is tracked per location and how transfers work, see Inventory & Multi-Location Stock.
Team & Roles
Team management lives in its own dedicated area (reachable from the sidebar), separate from the five Settings tabs — but it governs everyone's access to Settings and everything else, so it belongs in this guide.

Inviting a team member
An owner (or anyone given permission to manage the team) can invite a new member by entering their full name and email address. When you submit the invite:
- Omnikyo creates their account immediately.
- A temporary password is generated and shown to you once, so you can share it with the new team member securely.
- They sign in with their email and that temporary password, and are prompted to set their own password on first login.
You can optionally start them off with an existing role — see below — or leave them with no access until you assign one.
Roles
Every team member has a role that determines what they can see and do:
- Owner — the person who created the business. Always has full, unrestricted access to everything, including the ability to close the business account. There is exactly one owner, and this role cannot be edited or removed.
- Admin — full operational access to run the day-to-day business, including inviting and managing other team members. Cannot delete the business itself.
- Employee — access shaped entirely by whichever role is assigned to them, or by a fully custom set of permissions if one is built for them specifically (see below).
From the team list, an owner or anyone with team-management access can see every member's name, email, current access level, and when they joined — and can reset a member's password or remove them from the business entirely at any time.
Building a Custom Role
Beyond the three default roles, you can build reusable role presets — for example, "Sales Manager" or "Warehouse Staff" — and assign them to as many team members as you like. A preset is just a named, saved collection of permissions; changing the preset later updates access for everyone assigned to it.
Permissions are organized page by page — Orders, Products, Customers, Expenses, Reports, Settings, and so on. For each page, you choose:
- Whether the person can open that page at all. Turn this off and the page disappears from their sidebar entirely — they can't find it, search for it, or open a direct link to it.
- What they can do once inside, when the page supports it — for example, editing an order versus only viewing it, or deleting a product versus only adding and updating one.
This means you can be as precise as you like. A few real examples:
- Give someone access to Orders with editing rights, but no ability to delete them.
- Give someone access to Products but keep Settings completely hidden.
- Build a role that can view Reports but never touch Integrations or Team & Roles.
If a team member's access has been fine-tuned beyond what their assigned preset normally grants, Omnikyo flags them as customized so you always know their access no longer exactly matches the preset — and you can reset them back to the preset's defaults in one click at any time.
Onboarding, in Brief
When a new merchant first signs up, a short guided setup walks through the essentials: your business details, your own profile, choosing whether to build your store natively in Omnikyo or import it from an existing Shopify store, and two optional steps — connecting a custom domain, and connecting a courier account (Pathao or Steadfast) or your Meta Ads account. Anything skipped here can always be finished later from Settings.
Skip every optional step and you can have a working, live store in just a few minutes. The full walkthrough is in Getting Started.
Pricing, in Brief
Omnikyo is free to start — Tk 0 per month, no credit card required, no setup cost or per-seat fees. Omnikyo charges 0.9% to 2% of delivered orders only — nothing is charged on cancelled, returned, or undelivered orders. Cancel anytime.
There's no plan to choose and nothing to manage — this is handled automatically on Omnikyo's side, which is why you won't find a billing tab in Settings. For the full breakdown, see the FAQ.
Frequently Asked
Can more than one person be an owner? No. A business has exactly one owner — the person who created it. Everyone else is an Admin, an Employee, or a custom role, however broad you make their access.
What happens to a team member's data if I remove them? Removing a team member revokes their access immediately. Records they created — orders, notes, replies — stay in your business exactly as they were; only their ability to log in and see your business goes away.
Can I see who changed a permission or invited someone? Team and access changes are performed by owners and team members with permission to manage roles, and take effect immediately for the people affected.
I don't see a tab I expect in Settings — is something broken? Almost certainly not — it means you haven't been given access to that tab. Ask an owner or whoever manages roles on your team to grant it if you need it.
Do I need to connect couriers or Meta Ads before I can sell anything? No. Both are optional and can be connected at any time from Integrations. You can take and fulfill orders manually before either is set up.
