Ask Kyo about report numbers and build reports

Kyo can explain what is driving a number in a report and help you build a report by describing what you want to see.

Ask Kyo about a number in a report

When you see a number in a report that surprises you, click Ask Kyo about this and Kyo opens a new chat with a ready-made question about that number, its comparison with the previous period, and any filters you had active.

1. Open any report.
2. Find the number you want to understand (sales, profit, return rate, or any other metric).
3. Click the Ask Kyo about this button (sparkle icon) on that card or row.
4. Kyo opens in a new chat with your question pre-filled. The question names the metric, the date range, the number of orders, and what it was the period before.
5. Kyo replies with what is driving the change and what to do about it.

Build a custom report by asking Kyo

In Report Studio, the Ask Kyo tab lets you describe the report you want. Kyo writes the query, runs it against your real data once, and shows you the results.

1. Open Sidebar › Reports › Report Studio.
2. Click the Ask Kyo tab (next to SQL).
3. Describe the report: "Sales by product this month" or "Return rate by city and courier".
4. Press Enter or click the send button.
5. Kyo writes the query and runs it. The results show below in a chart or table (whichever fits the data best).
6. Describe a change: "Split it by courier" or "Only Dhaka this month". Kyo builds on the report as it stands.
7. When the report is right, click Save to keep it.

Failure messages and what they mean

"Kyo couldn't write a query for that. Try saying it another way." Kyo wrote a query but the database refused it. Rephrase the request: "sales per day", not "how much we made each day"; "orders from Dhaka", not "orders inside the delivery zone".

"Kyo couldn't answer." Something went wrong while Kyo was working. Try again.

Limits

Kyo can return up to 2,000 rows per query. If your data has more, you can narrow it (by date, city, source) or ask for a limit ("top 10 products by profit").
