Glossary of Terms
Plain-language definitions for the terms you'll see throughout Omnikyo, with the Bangla term alongside where it helps.
Bangla: ওমনিকিওর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শব্দগুলোর সহজ ব্যাখ্যা।
A
Advantage+ — A Meta (Facebook/Instagram) automated campaign type available when you create ads through Omnikyo's guided ad wizard. Instead of you manually picking audiences and placements, Meta's system automatically finds and targets people likely to buy, using your product catalog and past results. See Meta Ads.
C
Cash in Flight (হাতে না আসা টাকা) — The total value of orders that have already been handed to a courier but haven't been delivered and settled yet. This money is technically yours, but it's "in flight" — out with the courier, not yet in your hand. Omnikyo's Dashboard shows this as its own figure so you always know how much cash is moving through the delivery pipeline at any moment. See Dashboard Overview.
Cash on Delivery (COD) (নগদে ডেলিভারি) — A payment method where the customer pays in cash when the courier delivers the package, rather than paying online in advance. COD is how 80-90% of orders are paid for in Bangladesh's e-commerce market, and Omnikyo is built around it from the ground up.
Custom section (কাস্টম সেকশন) — A section of your storefront that goes beyond the standard, built-in building blocks — created either by you or by the AI store-editing assistant to fit a specific need your theme doesn't already cover. Custom sections live inside your theme like any other section and still require you to publish before customers see them. See Store Builder.
D
Delivered order (ডেলিভার্ড অর্ডার) — The order status reached once a courier has successfully handed the package to the customer. This status matters beyond fulfillment: it's the only point at which Omnikyo charges its fee. Orders that are cancelled, returned, or never delivered are never charged. See Orders.
F
F-commerce (এফ-কমার্স) — Facebook Commerce: selling products through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp rather than (or alongside) a traditional website. Sellers post products and take orders through DMs and comments. Omnikyo is purpose-built for F-commerce sellers.
L
Lifetime Value (LTV) (লাইফটাইম ভ্যালু) — The total revenue a single customer has generated across every order they've ever placed with you. A high-LTV customer with a strong delivery track record is one of your most valuable relationships — worth prioritizing and following up with. See Customers.
Live theme vs. draft theme (লাইভ থিম বনাম ড্রাফট থিম) — Your storefront always has a live version — what customers actually see — and can have a draft version, where you or the AI assistant make changes. Editing the draft never affects your live store. Only when you explicitly publish does the draft become the new live version. This means you can experiment freely without any risk of breaking your storefront for real visitors. See Store Builder.
Location / channel routing (লোকেশন রাউটিং) — When you track inventory across more than one location (warehouse, shop, or storage point), Omnikyo can route each order to the right location automatically based on stock availability and your routing rules, rather than you having to check manually every time.
N
Nova (নোভা) — Omnikyo's AI assistant for the Unified Inbox. Nova can draft a reply for you to review and send, refine a reply you've already written, or — only if you switch on Autopilot — send replies to customers automatically. Nova is a live, available feature today, not an upcoming one. See Unified Inbox.
O
OmniAI (ওমনিএআই) — Omnikyo's admin assistant. Ask it plain-language questions about your business ("What was my profit last week?") and it answers using your real data. It can also propose changes for you — the business owner — to review and approve, rather than making changes on its own. See OmniAI.
OmniGen (ওমনিজেন) — Omnikyo's AI creative generator. Describe what you need — a product photo, a lifestyle shot, an ad creative — and OmniGen produces images you can use across your storefront and ad campaigns. See OmniGen.
OmniShip (ওমনিশিপ) — Omnikyo's courier dispatch module. It connects to Pathao, Steadfast, RedX, and Paperfly, letting you book deliveries and see live tracking for every order without leaving Omnikyo. See OmniShip.
OmniStore — Omnikyo's built-in storefront builder: themes, custom sections, product pages, and checkout, all managed from inside Omnikyo. See Store Builder.
Order statuses (the 9-stage lifecycle) — Every order in Omnikyo moves through a defined lifecycle. The nine possible statuses are:
| Status | Bangla | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| New | নতুন | The order has just come in and hasn't been verified yet. |
| Confirmed | কনফার্মড | You've verified the customer's details and the order is ready to prepare. |
| Hold | হোল্ড | The order is temporarily paused — waiting on stock, customer confirmation, or another blocker. |
| Preparing | প্রস্তুতি চলছে | The order is being packed and readied for dispatch. |
| Dispatched | পাঠানো হয়েছে | The order has been handed to a courier for delivery. |
| Delivered | ডেলিভার্ড | The courier has successfully delivered the order to the customer. |
| Return Pending | রিটার্ন পেন্ডিং | The customer has refused or is unreachable, and the package is on its way back to you. |
| Returned | রিটার্ন হয়েছে | The package has been returned to you and is back in stock. |
| Cancelled | বাতিল | The order was called off before delivery, at any stage. |
See Orders for the full lifecycle in detail.
R
RTO (Return to Origin) (রিটার্ন টু অরিজিন) — When a courier brings a package back because the customer refused it, wasn't reachable, or couldn't be found. A customer's delivery success rate — often shown as a badge on their profile — reflects what percentage of their past orders were successfully delivered versus returned, helping you decide how much verification a new order from them needs. See Customers.
U
Unified Inbox — A single inbox that brings together customer conversations from Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp, so you never have to check three separate apps. See Unified Inbox.
