Change the dashboard date range

Tap or click the calendar button at the top right of the Dashboard to open the date picker and choose a time period. The three headline cards and the period charts update to show that period.

Where to find it: Dashboard › the calendar icon button at the top right, next to the Refresh button Who can do it: Anyone who can open the Dashboard

Before you start

The date picker is on the Dashboard only. The date you choose stays in that browser tab until you change it or reload the page. It does not affect Reports (which has its own date picker) or the live cards (Needs attention, Courier health, Cash in flight).

The dates in the range are always placed dates — the day the customer ordered — in your business time zone (default Asia/Dhaka). They are not "delivered on these dates" or "dispatched on these dates".

Open the date picker

  1. On the Dashboard, find the calendar icon button at the top right (the Refresh button is next to it).
  2. Tap or click the button. The picker opens as a popover on desktop or a bottom sheet on a phone.

Use a preset

The picker shows nine quick presets: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, Last 90 days, This year.

  1. Click or tap the preset you want. It applies straight away and the picker closes. The three headline cards update immediately.

A preset button shows which one is currently chosen (highlighted in green).

Pick a custom date range

A custom range takes two taps or clicks:

  1. On the calendar, tap or click the first day of your range. It is marked with a circle.
  2. Tap or click the last day. The calendar shows the whole span shaded.
  3. On desktop, click Apply. On a phone, tap the button showing the number of days (e.g. "Apply · 6 days").

The range applies and the picker closes. If you tap the same day twice, a single day is chosen.

If you change your mind

  • Before tapping Apply, click another day to adjust the start or end. Tap a day earlier than the one you picked to move the start backward; tap a day after it to set the end.
  • Tap Cancel at the bottom to close the picker without changing the range.

How dates are counted

One day: the whole day from 00:00 to 23:59:59 in your business time zone. A single-day range is shown as "3 Oct" on the button.

A span of days: both days included, all the way through. The display shows "3 – 9 Oct" (same month), "28 Sep – 4 Oct" (across months), or "28 Dec 2025 – 3 Jan 2026" (across years).

Placed date: orders are counted by when the customer placed them, not when they were dispatched or delivered. A customer who ordered on 5 Oct shows in that date's count even if they receive it on 8 Oct.

On a phone vs. desktop

Phone: the picker opens as a full-screen bottom sheet. The presets show as a row of chips that you can scroll. Tap a preset to apply it at once, or tap the calendar below to build a custom range. At the bottom, tap Cancel or Apply · N days.

Desktop: the picker opens as a popover beside the button. The presets sit as a narrow rail on the left. Two months are shown side by side. Click a preset or tap the calendar, then click Cancel or Apply.

Which cards change with the date range

On the Dashboard, these cards update when you change the date: the three headline cards (Sales, Ad spend, Net profit and all their smaller figures), the Sales and ad spend chart (the period shown, the Best/Average/Lowest slots), Orders by status (count and values for that period), and Top products (the best 50 sellers in that period).

Three parts of the Dashboard do not change with the date and stay live: Needs attention (orders that need action now), Courier health (the last 30 days always), and Cash in flight (right now, parcels in the last 5 days).

Questions people ask

Why does the date range not affect Needs attention?

Needs attention shows orders that need a person right now, live. The date range is for historical analysis (how much did I make last month), not for filtering live work. The list is always what needs doing today.

Can I pick a future date?

Yes, the picker allows it, but there is no data for future dates yet, so the Dashboard shows zeroes.

Does the dashboard date change my Reports date?

No. Reports has its own date picker. Changing one does not affect the other.

How do I go back to today?

Tap the Today preset to jump back to the current date.
