Read the Sales and ad spend chart
The chart shows sales every day, and how much you paid Meta for ads the same day. The title changes if you pick a single day (hourly breakdown instead).

What the chart shows
The chart displays sales you booked each day for 2 or more days. When you view a single day, it breaks down into hourly sales instead. The chart always shows the actual figures as they are (no smoothing or forecast lines).
Below 2+ day ranges when Meta is connected, an Ad spend line shows what you paid Meta the same days. Orders are counted by placed date in your business time zone (default Asia/Dhaka).
One day: hourly breakdown
When you pick a single date in the Dashboard, the chart title changes to Sales by hour and shows 24 hourly bars. Each hour (12am to 11pm) is one bar.
The Ad spend line does not appear because Meta reports spend per day only, not per hour. The header shows the day's total sales.
2+ days: daily or higher grain
For a range of 2 days to 3 months, the chart shows one point per day. The chart automatically switches to weeks when more than 92 days fit, or months for 60+ days. You can switch manually with the button next to the title: Day (if 92 days or fewer), Week (14 days or more), Month (60 days or more).
The second axis (scaling rule)
When the Ad spend line is much smaller or much larger than Sales (under one eighth or over eight times the size), the chart draws a second vertical scale on the right side. This keeps both lines readable instead of flattening one into a thin stripe.
On narrow cards below 480px wide, the second axis is hidden, but the readout always shows exact figures.
Scrub to see one day or hour
Move your pointer or drag a finger across the chart. The headline figure above switches to that single day (or hour, or week, or month depending on the grain) and shows its exact sales and ad spend. The label changes to the date or time of the bucket you are over (Sun 27 Sep, or Day 1…Day 24 for hours).
This works on phones too: swipe horizontally to scrub, vertical swipes still scroll the page.
Summary figures below the chart
When the chart has 2 or more points (days, weeks, or months):
- Best day/week/month/hour: the single period with the most sales, with its date or label.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Hourly avg: the average sales per period. The whole range spread evenly across all the buckets.
- Lowest day/week/month/hour: the period with the least sales (shown only if you are not viewing the previous period's line for comparison).

Where the legend is
Sales and Ad spend labels sit below the chart. Sales is the area; Ad spend is the line.
How the ad spend line behaves
The Ad spend line shows your full Meta account spend each day, even if you are leaving campaigns out. The headline Ad spend figure and the card's caption show only the campaigns you are counting, but the chart line still includes everything from Meta.
When you change the date range, the ad spend line updates on the next refresh (if Meta answers in time; if it times out, the line disappears until the next successful fetch).
Questions people ask
Why does the ad spend line not show?
For a single day, the line never shows because Meta reports spend per day only. For a range of 2+ days: Meta is not connected, Meta timed out, or an error message appeared on the dashboard (check the Ad spend card).
Why don't the two lines match the headline figures?
The ad spend line shows your whole account spend. The headline Ad spend figure shows only the campaigns you are counting (if you left any out). The chart line always includes all campaigns.
What if my hourly chart totals don't match Sales?
The one-day chart draws only the 100 most recent orders of that day. On a very busy day with more than 100 orders, the earlier hours will be under-counted.
