Overview report

The Overview report is your business summary in four headline cards and six charts: how much you earned, sold, spent on ads and delivered. Everything is compared to the same period last time.

Where to find it: Sidebar › Business › Reports › Overview (the first report view).

Opening Overview

Every report has a toolbar at the top right. On the Overview page you will see an info icon (i), buttons to Export Overview and Full Report, and a date picker showing your selected range (default: the first of this month to today). The page does not have a title; the cards fill the whole screen.

The date range is shared by all reports while you stay on the dashboard — change it once and every report updates. The range is not saved between visits; reload resets it to this month.

The four headline cards

The cards are arranged left to right on a wide screen: Profit, Sales, Ads, Fulfilment. On a phone they stack into one column. Each card shows one big figure with a caption, a small trend line where available, and a grid of smaller related figures below it. Hover or tap a figure's label for a plain-language definition.

Colours: money is shown as Tk 1,200, negative as −Tk 1,200. Percentages drop trailing ".0". Ratios show as 6.00x (the ROAS figure). Days are shown as 2.5d.

Every figure is compared to the same-length period before your range. Changes are shown as a percentage ("+12%") or in points for percentages ("+6 pts"). "New" means the previous period was zero. Flat means the change is under 0.5%. Red change is worse for that metric (ad spend up is red). Green is better (profit up is green).

Card 1 — Profit

The big figure is Net profit — what your business kept after all costs. Below it is a caption showing the margin (net profit as a share of revenue, in percent), and a button Orders that opens a drawer showing the orders in that profit figure.

The smaller figures below are:

  • Gross profit: Revenue minus product cost, courier fees and return fees. Before ads and expenses.
  • Margin: Gross profit as a share of revenue (as a percent).
  • Products: The cost of the goods you sold (on delivered orders only).
  • Couriers: The delivery fees paid to couriers (on delivered orders).
  • Return fees: The delivery fees paid on returned parcels (the cost of getting them back).
  • Expenses: The total of all expenses logged for this period (rent, salaries, packing, etc.).

Card 2 — Sales

The big figure is Revenue — the cash your business received (cash collected on delivery plus advance payments on delivered orders). It has a trend line showing revenue each day. The Orders button opens a drawer of the orders in this revenue.

The smaller figures are:

  • Sales: The order totals of all non-cancelled orders (even unpaid ones). Always higher than or equal to Revenue.
  • After fees: Revenue minus courier delivery fees. What you have left before paying for goods or ads.
  • Orders: The number of orders created in this period (not cancelled).
  • Avg order: Revenue divided by the number of orders. What an average order was worth.
  • Units: The items delivered. Useful for per-unit costs.
  • Sales a day: Total sales divided by the number of days in the range. Your daily rate.

Card 3 — Ads

The big figure is Ad spend — the money you spent on Meta ads in your ad account currency, converted to taka. Below it is a caption showing ad spend as a share of sales (as a percent). There is a trend line showing spend each day.

The smaller figures are:

  • ROAS: Your revenue per taka of ad spend, shown as a ratio (6.00x means Tk 6 revenue per Tk 1 spent). Zero if you had no ad spend.
  • Per delivery: Ad spend divided by the number of delivered orders. How much you spent on ads for each delivery.
  • Per order: Ad spend divided by the total number of orders. Cost per order, whether delivered or not.
  • Per unit: Ad spend divided by units delivered. Cost per item.
  • Of sales: Ad spend as a share of sales (as a percent).
  • Spend a day: Total ad spend divided by the number of days. Your daily ad rate.

Good to know: Ad spend is a snapshot taken each day at 2 a.m. (your business time). Today's spend may not appear until tomorrow. Change the ad tax rate and dollar rate in Settings › Meta Ads › Ad spend if the figures are wrong.

Card 4 — Fulfilment

The big figure is Delivery rate — how many orders reached the customer (as a percent of all non-cancelled orders). Below it is a caption showing the return rate (also as a percent). The Orders button opens a drawer of delivered orders.

The smaller figures are:

  • Delivered: The number of orders in Delivered status.
  • Returned: Orders that came back (Returned + Return Pending status).
  • Return rate: Returned orders as a share of all non-cancelled orders (as a percent).
  • Unpaid RTO: Returned parcels where no cash was collected before they came back. A cost you bore.
  • Advances: Orders where the customer paid an advance (as a share of all orders).
  • In transit: Cash still with couriers on COD orders that are Dispatched. Money on the road.

Charts below the cards

Below the four cards are six charts telling the story of your sales, costs and orders.

Revenue and ad spend

A trend chart showing Revenue each day (the blue line) and Ad spend each day (the orange line). If the lines are scaled differently use the values shown on the left (revenue) and right (ad spend) sides to read them. A dotted line shows the same dates in the previous period so you can spot patterns.

There is a Slot label showing Best ROAS day — the day with your highest revenue per taka of ad spend during this period.

Where revenue went

A breakdown chart (pie-like) showing: the product cost (how much the goods cost you), couriers (delivery fees), ads, expenses, and profit (if positive). The footer shows Costs (the cost total) and Kept (the profit). If profit is negative, the chart shows all costs and no profit slice.

Sales to net profit

A waterfall chart showing the journey from the order total (Sales) all the way to what you kept (Net profit). Each step is labelled:

  • Sales: Order totals of all non-cancelled orders.
  • Not delivered: Orders and revenue lost to cancellations, returns and orders still on the way. (The net of all those reductions.)
  • Revenue: Cash actually collected or advanced on delivered orders.
  • Courier: Delivery fees that cost money.
  • Return fees: Courier fees on returned parcels.
  • Product cost: The cost of goods you sold.
  • Gross profit: Revenue minus all those costs.
  • Ads: Ad spend that period.
  • Expenses: Logged business expenses.
  • Net profit: Gross profit minus ads and expenses. The final bottom line.

Each segment is labelled with its number (in taka) and as a step down or up from the previous number.

One delivered order

A waterfall showing the same logic, but divided by the number of delivered orders. This tells you the economics of a typical delivered order: how much revenue, what product cost, which fees, and what profit that order earned on average.

From order to doorstep

A funnel chart showing the journey of an order:

  • Placed: Orders created.
  • Shipped: Orders dispatched to a courier or fulfilled in some other way.
  • Delivered: Orders that reached the customer.

The width of each step shows the count. The label on each step shows the count and the "conversion" (what share of the previous step reached this one).

Orders by status

A ranked list showing how many orders are in each status (New, Confirmed, Preparing, Hold, Dispatched, Delivered, Returned, Return Pending, Cancelled). Each row shows the count and the value of orders in that status. Statuses with zero orders do not appear.

Below the list is a note about The pipeline — a visual strip grouping statuses as the order moves: New → Confirmed → Preparing → Dispatched → Delivered. Returns are shown together, and Hold is separate. Cancelled orders are not in the pipeline.

The page supports two URL parameters to jump to specific parts:

  • ?scrollTo=pipeline scrolls to the Orders by status section and the pipeline strip, useful to bookmark.

Exporting the Overview

Two buttons at the top right export different PDFs:

  • Export Overview: A print-ready PDF of this Overview page only, with charts and all headline cards. File name: omnikiyo-overview-<today-date>.pdf.
  • Full Report: A comprehensive PDF combining six sections: Overview, Financials, Orders, Products, Customers and Storefront Analytics. File name: omnikiyo-audit-report-<today-date>.pdf. Takes a few seconds; you will see progress steps (Preparing, Rendering, Assembling, Saving).

Both export the date range shown on screen. The filename uses today's date, not your report range date.

While the page is loading a new range, the buttons are disabled and show the message Loading the new range….

Opening the orders behind a number

Click the Orders button on any headline figure (Net profit, Revenue, Delivery rate, etc.) to open a drawer showing the orders that make up that number. The drawer shows:

  • A totals section with that metric, the trend, plus Summary figures (Orders, Units, Sales, Profit, Margin, Avg order).
  • A Breakdown bar list that you can click to filter — by Source, Status, Courier, Payment, City, Product, Customer, Day or Week.
  • The Orders list, searchable and sortable. Click an order to open it. Tap Show more orders to load more.
  • An Export orders as CSV button (up to 5,000 most recent orders).

Good to know: The orders in the drawer use a different calculation basis than the headline. The drawer shows goods sales and goods profit (no delivery fees, ads or expenses). The headline shows business net profit. See How report numbers are worked out for the difference.
