Reports: questions people ask

Every report counts orders by the date you placed them, not when they were delivered. Revenue and profit are the same across all pages. Reports are read-only and shared by your whole team.

What counts as revenue

Revenue is cash you have collected from delivered orders. It is the sum of cash collected at delivery plus advance payments on orders whose status is now Delivered. Only delivered orders bring revenue into your profit; orders still in transit or on hold do not count, even if you collected an advance. If a delivered order brought in no cash, it adds nothing to revenue. Returned orders never count as revenue.

Are cancelled orders included in reports

Cancelled orders are excluded from almost every figure in Reports. The count "Orders" does not include them, "Sales" does not include them, and "Delivery rate" does not include them. The only place they appear is as a separate row labelled Cancelled in the status breakdown, so you can see what was lost demand. On the Orders & Sales report, there is a Cancelled card showing total value lost.

Which date does a report use

Reports count orders by the date you created them. If you placed an order on 15 October, it appears in the 15 October row regardless of when the parcel was dispatched or delivered. When you pick a date range on a report — for example, 1 to 31 October — every order created in those days is counted, in your business time zone (default Asia/Dhaka). Empty days in the range still show on trend charts. This means same-day reporting works: today's orders land as soon as you place them.

Can I export a report

You can export most reports as a PDF file ready to print or email. Open any report (Overview, Orders & Sales, Products, Customers, Financials or Storefront Analytics) and tap Export Overview, Export Orders, or Export in the toolbar. A dialog appears with Generate PDF. The PDF includes charts, tables and all the figures for the date range you are viewing. The Overview report has a second option Full Report which combines six sections (overview, financials, orders, products, customers, storefront) into one document. Report Studio exports as CSV instead.

Why does today's ad spend not appear in reports

The Reports section reads your stored daily ad spend from Meta. A scheduled process snapshots yesterday's spend each day at 2 a.m., not today's. So today's spend (which is still being totalled by Meta) does not appear until tomorrow's snapshot runs. Check the Meta Ads page for real-time spend data. If ad spend is missing even yesterday, verify that your Meta ad account is still connected in Settings › Meta Ads › Connection.

Is a report editable by my team

Reports are read-only. You cannot edit a number on the page or change a figure once it is calculated. However, in Report Studio you can save custom reports that your team can see and build on. When someone saves or changes a Report Studio report, every team member with access to Reports can open that saved report, edit it (not update the name or description), and save their own copy as "[name] (copy)". Deleting a saved report removes it for everyone.

Can I see orders grouped by delivery date

Reports group orders by created date (when you placed them), not delivery date. You cannot switch to delivery-date grouping on the standard reports. If you need analysis by when orders were delivered, use Report Studio to build a custom report. Open Report Studio, pick the dataset Sales & profit or Orders, add the metric you want (Delivered orders, Delivery rate, or another figure), and break it down by Status to see how many are Dispatched, Delivered, Returned, and so on. Then export as CSV.
