Reports: which report answers which question
The Reports section holds eight report views, plus Storefront Live and Report Studio. Each one answers a different question about your sales, products, customers, couriers, money and website, for a date range you choose.

The report views and what each one answers
Reports opens on Overview. The other views sit beside it in the same group.

| Orders & Sales | How sales moved day by day, and which orders sit behind a number |
| Products | Which products sell best and which ones come back |

| Fulfilment & Courier | How well each courier delivers and how many parcels return |
| Financials | Profit and loss: revenue, costs, margin |
| Storefront Analytics | Website visitors and how many of them buy |
| Storefront Live | Who is on your website this minute |
| Report Studio | Any question the ready-made views do not cover: build your own report, or ask in plain words |
Pick a view by the question you have
- "Did I make money this month?" Start on Overview, then open Financials for the full breakdown.
- "Which product should I restock?" Open Products, then check Inventory.
- "Why are so many parcels coming back?" Open Fulfilment & Courier and compare couriers.
- "Is my ad spend paying off?" The Ads card on Overview shows spend against sales.
- "How many people visited, and how many bought?" Open Storefront Analytics.
- "I need a number nobody built a page for." Open Report Studio.
Choosing the date range
Every report view has a date picker at the top. Pick a quick range such as Yesterday, This week, Last 7 days, Last 90 days or This year, or choose your own start and end dates on the calendar.
- The range is read in your business time zone, so "today" ends at your midnight, not the server's.
- Orders are placed in the range by the day they were created, not the day they were delivered. See How report numbers work.
- Most views compare the range with the period just before it, so you can see whether a number is up or down.
When two reports show different numbers
Reports use slightly different definitions on purpose. For example, delivery rate is counted one way on Overview and another way on Fulfilment & Courier. The page How report numbers work lists every definition so you can tell which number to trust for which decision.
