Reports problems and why numbers do not match
Report numbers come from different places: Overview revenue is cash; Products revenue is selling prices. Same label, different base.

Report will not load
The page shows placeholders for too long, or a card saying Couldn't load this report with an error and Try again.
Why: The database timed out or the connection dropped.
Fix: Click Try again. Try a shorter date range. Check your internet.
Report figures are dimmed and export buttons are greyed
The numbers are faded and buttons say Loading the new range....
Why: You changed the date range and data is loading.
Fix: Wait a few seconds for the new numbers to appear.
"Couldn't refresh — showing the last loaded data" notice
An amber banner with Retry button.
Why: The refresh failed but old data still shows.
Fix: Click Retry. If it fails again, refresh the page and wait.
No data shows in the report
The page shows No data available for this period. or Pick a date range to see this report.
Why: The date range is empty or not selected.
Fix: Pick a date range with the date picker. Choose a recent period when you had orders.
Product revenue does not match Overview revenue
Products shows Delivered revenue that differs from Overview Revenue.
Why: Products uses order line prices; Overview uses actual cash collected. Discounts, partial cancellations, or payments affect the difference.
Fix: Both are correct on their own basis. Products revenue is what was charged for product lines. Overview revenue is what was collected.
Orders & Sales delivery rate differs from Overview
Delivery rate is different between the two reports.
Why: Orders & Sales calculates it as delivered ÷ dispatched. Overview calculates it as delivered ÷ all non-cancelled.
Fix: The definitions differ. Orders & Sales excludes Preparing and Confirmed orders.
Storefront purchases do not appear in orders
Customers bought on the store but Orders shows nothing.
Why: The store is not sending orders to Omnikyo, or tracking is not set up.
Fix: Check that the store is enabled and orders are mapped to Omnikyo. Check Settings › Integrations › Custom website if using a custom site. Refresh the page.
"Live disabled / Reconnecting" in Storefront Live
Storefront Live shows no visitor data.
Why: Store tracking is offline or the connection dropped.
Fix: Check that the store is online. Wait for the connection to reconnect. Refresh the page.
Report Studio: "This report doesn't exist any more"
Opening a saved report shows that message.
Why: The report was deleted or the URL is wrong.
Fix: Click Start a new report or Templates.
Report Studio: "Too slow: narrow the dates"
An error in red says Too slow: narrow the dates or aggregate first.
Why: The query hit the 2,000-row cap or timed out.
Fix: Shorten the date range. Add filters. Group by week instead of day.
Report Studio: Kyo failure "Kyo couldn't write a query"
In Ask Kyo, the response says Kyo couldn't write a query for that.
Why: Kyo could not translate the question to SQL, or the query timed out.
Fix: Rephrase the question more clearly. Write the SQL yourself.
Report Studio: SQL errors
Errors like Only a SELECT (or WITH ... SELECT) query can run or System catalogs are not available.
Why: Your query has INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE, comments, or uses system tables.
Fix: Write only SELECT. Remove comments (text after --). Use only business tables (orders, products, etc.).
PDF export: "Export failed" or silent close
The dialog shows Export failed or closes without downloading.
Why: PDF rendering failed or the browser blocked the download.
Fix: Try a shorter date range. Check browser download settings. Try a different browser.
