Connect Pathao

Get your Pathao API keys, paste them into Omnikyo with your login, then load your pickup stores so you can book parcels.

Before you start

You need a Pathao merchant account with Developer API access. You also need at least one pickup store set up in Pathao (a location where Pathao collects parcels from you). If you do not have a Pathao account yet, create one at pathao.com.

Step 1: Get your API keys from Pathao

  1. Sign in to your Pathao merchant account at https://merchant.pathao.com.
  2. In the menu, find and open Developer API.
  3. Copy your Client ID.
  4. Copy your Client secret (it is hidden; click to reveal).
  5. Keep these safe. You will paste them into Omnikyo next.

Step 2: Paste your Pathao credentials into Omnikyo

  1. Go to Sidebar › Settings › Shipping and delivery › Pathao in Omnikyo.
  2. You will see a form with four fields.
  3. Paste your Client ID from Pathao.
  4. Paste your Client secret from Pathao.
  5. Enter the Pathao login email — the email address you use to sign in to the Pathao merchant panel.
  6. Enter your Pathao password.
  7. At the bottom, click Save. A toast will show Pathao saved. Omnikyo uses your login to get an access token from Pathao. The password is never stored; it is only used once to request the token.

Step 3: Load your pickup stores

Once your credentials are saved, a Pickup stores section appears.

  1. Click Load stores. Omnikyo will fetch your stores from Pathao.
  2. A toast will show "1 pickup store loaded" or "{number} pickup stores loaded" (depending on how many you have in Pathao).
  3. Each store now appears as a row with its name and address.
  4. One store must be marked as Default (it has a checkmark). If no default is set, Pathao will use its own default store. You can click Make default on any other store to change it.

Good to know: The default store does not automatically book all parcels. When you book a parcel, Omnikyo shows a menu of all your saved stores and you pick one each time.

If you later add a new pickup store in Pathao, come back here and click Load again to refresh the list.

Step 4: Add the webhook so Omnikyo gets delivery updates

  1. Still on the Pathao page, find the Delivery updates row. It shows a webhook address and (if you have set one) a webhook secret.
  2. Copy the webhook address (it looks like https://yourstore.omnikyo.com/api/webhooks/pathao).
  3. Go to Pathao merchant panel › Developer API › Webhook.
  4. Paste the webhook address there.
  5. Back in Omnikyo, you need to set a Webhook secret. This is a code Pathao sends with every delivery update so Omnikyo knows it is genuine. Click the wand button Generate a strong secret and Omnikyo will create one for you. Copy this secret and paste it into Pathao's Webhook secret field.
  6. Save in Pathao.

Once the webhook is saved, Omnikyo will receive delivery updates automatically: when the parcel is picked, in transit, out for delivery and delivered.

Careful: Without the webhook secret, Omnikyo will not accept updates from Pathao. If you lose the secret, generate a new one in Omnikyo, update Pathao with it, and come back to save it here.

What happens next

Your Pathao status pill becomes Connected. You can now:

  • Book parcels from the Orders list. The row menu shows Send to Pathao and Send Express to Pathao.
  • Book many parcels at once using the bulk Ship menu.
  • See delivery updates automatically as Pathao scans the parcel.
  • Sync the latest status manually on an order if it is stuck.

Change your credentials

If you need to update your Client ID, secret or password, click Change credentials at the bottom of the page. The form will reappear. Make your changes and click Save.

Questions people ask

What is Express delivery?

Express is an on-demand delivery option where Pathao prioritises the parcel and delivers it the same or next day. It costs the customer more. You can offer it by choosing Send Express to Pathao from the order menu.

Why does the Pickup stores section say "No pickup stores"?

Omnikyo loaded your stores from Pathao, but Pathao returned an empty list. Reasons: no stores are set up in Pathao, your credentials are not saved yet, or Pathao timed out. Check that at least one pickup store exists in https://merchant.pathao.com, then click Load again.

Can I use Pathao without a pickup store?

No. Pathao requires a pickup store so their courier knows where to collect from. Add one in the Pathao merchant panel.

What if I do not set a webhook secret?

You can still book parcels and Pathao will collect them. But Omnikyo will not receive delivery status updates automatically. Parcels will stay on Awaiting courier (or whatever the last manual status was) until you manually add the tracking code or sync the status.
