Switch between light and dark mode, and choose a theme pack
You can switch the dashboard to light, dark or system mode, and choose an optional theme pack that gives the whole interface a different look — only you see your choice.

Switch between light and dark mode
The Theme button is in the sidebar footer, next to your user menu button.
- Click the Theme button (it shows the current choice as an icon).
- Choose Light (bright), Dark (dark), or System (matches your device setting).
The change applies at once. System is the default — your dashboard follows your phone or computer's light/dark preference.
Good to know: The store builder and your storefront always stay light, even when the dashboard is dark.
You can also use the command palette: press Ctrl K (or Cmd K on Mac), type "dark" or "light", and select Switch to dark mode or Switch to light mode.
Choose a theme pack
Theme packs are optional. They are full re-skins — different colours, fonts and a different overall look. They do not change what anything does, only how it looks.
- Open Settings (Ctrl/Cmd + S, or click your user button → Settings).
- Go to Preferences.
- Under Theme pack, tap one of the ten tiles: Default (the standard look), Sugar Rush, Neon Grid, Brutalist, Luna XP, Bloom, Dollhouse, Aurora Glass, Synthwave or Mocha Café.
- A checkmark appears on your choice. The dashboard updates straight away.
To bring back the standard look, tap Default.
Each pack shows a small picture and name. Default shows the standard Omnikyo look. The packs are:
- Sugar Rush — Kawaii pastel, cute and playful
- Neon Grid — Cyberpunk neon console
- Brutalist — Neo-brutalism and minimalism
- Luna XP — Windows XP throwback
- Bloom — Cottagecore, soft floral and romantic
- Dollhouse — Barbiecore glam, bold hot pink
- Aurora Glass — Frosted glassmorphism, aurora gradients
- Synthwave — 80s retro sunset neon and grid
- Mocha Café — Cozy warm coffee-house, calm and elegant
How long your choices last
Your light/dark mode and theme pack are saved to this browser only. They survive a page reload, but when you switch browsers, devices or sign out, your choices are not remembered. Only you see your theme pack — your team sees their own choices on their devices.
Questions people ask
Does my team see my theme pack?
No. Theme packs are private — each person sees only their own choice. Your team members do not see your theme pack, and you do not see theirs.
Do the store builder and the storefront change?
The store builder and your customer-facing storefront always stay light. Light/dark mode and theme packs only change the dashboard.
Do I need to save my choice?
No. The moment you pick a light/dark mode or a theme pack, it applies and is saved. There is nothing to click Save on.
