Quick answers about which couriers work with Omnikyo, how to cancel parcels, and how payments and delivery fees are tracked.

Which couriers can I use?

Omnikyo supports exactly two couriers: Pathao and Steadfast. Both work with orders you create in Omnikyo and with orders from your online store and landing pages.

Paperfly, RedX, eCourier, Sundarban and others are not available. Only Pathao and Steadfast. You can use both at the same time — some orders to Pathao, others to Steadfast — or choose one.

Can I cancel a parcel at the courier?

No. Omnikyo has no button or action to cancel a parcel after you book it with Pathao or Steadfast. To stop a parcel you must use the courier's own merchant panel. When you cancel it there, the courier will send an update to Omnikyo and the order will move to Return Pending. You can then mark it as Returned inside Omnikyo.

If I cancel at the courier by mistake: Do not book the same order again. The parcel already exists at the courier. To fix a mistake, use the courier's panel to cancel or redirect the parcel, then edit the order's tracking code to clear it if you want to rebook later.

Can I rebook an order if the first booking failed?

Yes, but only if you clear the old tracking code first. If an order still has a tracking code from the failed booking, booking it again creates a second parcel at the courier with the same customer and amount.

Open the order's Courier tab, click the pencil icon next to the tracking code, and click Clear or delete the code. Then book again.

Is the default Pathao store used when I book?

No. When you book a parcel from an order, a Ship from submenu lists all your loaded Pathao stores. You pick one for each parcel. The store you marked as Default in Settings is just a label for reference — it is not used automatically. Every booking is your choice.

What is Express delivery?

When you book with Pathao, you see two options in the menu: Send to Pathao (standard) and Send Express to Pathao (Express / On Demand). Express delivery costs more and is faster than standard. Pathao calls it "On Demand" delivery.

Only Pathao offers Express. Steadfast uses standard home delivery. When you pick Express, Omnikyo tells Pathao to treat it as a rush order.

Why does Omnikyo send 0.5 kg as the parcel weight?

Omnikyo always sends a fixed weight of 0.5 kg to the courier. This is because most merchants in Bangladesh ship lightweight items (clothing, small packages). The 0.5 kg weight is used to calculate a rough delivery fee estimate at the courier, but the final fee is based on what the courier actually collects. If you need a different weight, you can adjust the courier fee manually after delivery.

Why is my free delivery not applying?

If you set Inside Dhaka delivery fee to 0 (zero), free delivery should show at checkout for orders in Dhaka. But there are other rules:

  • A free-delivery discount code applied by the customer overrides the fee setting.
  • A landing-page offer tier with free delivery enabled overrides both.
  • These rules are checked in that order at checkout.

If free delivery is not showing, check:

  1. That the fee field is actually set to 0 (not left blank).
  2. Whether a discount code or offer tier with free delivery is active.

Do hand-made orders include the delivery fee?

No. When you create an order manually in the dashboard, the Shipping fee is a required field you set yourself — there is no automatic fee. This field is separate from your store's delivery fee settings, which only apply to customers who order from your online store or landing pages.

For POS sales (in-person orders), Omnikyo forces the shipping fee to 0 because the customer pays in cash and takes the goods with them.

Can I check my Steadfast balance?

Yes. Open Settings › Shipping and delivery › Steadfast, and click Check connection. Omnikyo will fetch your current Steadfast balance from their system and display it as "Balance ৳<amount>". This check happens once — the balance is not updated live. Click again to refresh.

Pathao does not offer a balance check in Omnikyo.

Where can I see payouts from the courier?

Omnikyo tracks cash your courier has collected but not paid you yet (shown on the Dashboard under Cash in flight). For Pathao, if an order shows a Paid status, Pathao has marked it as paid. Steadfast does not report payouts at all in Omnikyo.

There is no dedicated payout or reconciliation screen. You must check your bank account and the courier's own merchant panel to confirm when money arrives. Contact the courier directly about payment schedules and minimum payout thresholds.

How many orders can I send to a courier at once?

Pathao: no limit in Omnikyo's code. You can bulk-submit as many orders as you select.

Steadfast: limited to 100 orders per batch. If you select more than 100, the message says "Steadfast can process up to 100 orders per batch." Split into smaller batches and send them separately.

Why did my delivery fee change after booking?

When you book a parcel with Pathao, the order's Shipping fee field is overwritten with Pathao's returned delivery fee. If you set it to Tk 100 in the order, but Pathao charges Tk 120, the field updates to 120. This happens only for Pathao single bookings.

Steadfast sets the shipping fee to 0 after booking, so you see only what the customer paid (your delivery fee), not what Steadfast charged you (which you pay separately based on COD collected).

This behavior can make the profit math confusing. The order's Shipping line shows what the customer paid; the Courier fee (shown after delivery) shows what you paid. See Delivery fee vs courier fee for how they differ.
