The Inventory page
The Inventory page shows you stock at one location, with summary tiles, search, filters and a table of products with their stock counts.
বাংলায়: Inventory পেজ দুটি অংশে ভাগ করা। উপরের অংশে পাঁচটি টাইল: On hand (মোট), Stock value (মূল্য), Low stock (সংখ্যা), Out of stock (সংখ্যা), আর Unavailable (ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত)। নিচে সব পণ্যের টেবিল, যেখানে নাম, SKU, Available, On hand, Reserved, Unavailable দেখা যায়। প্রতিটি লাইনে Adjust বাটন আর একটি মেনু থাকে।
Where to find it: Sidebar › Products › Inventory
Summary tiles (desktop)
At the top of the page are five tiles. They apply to the location you are viewing.
- On hand: the total units. A sub-line shows how many products you have and how many units are reserved.
- Stock value: the Taka value at cost. A sub-line shows At cost or, if you have products without a cost price, At cost · N without a cost.
- Low stock: a count of products with 1 to 5 available units. Tap this tile to filter the table to show only those products.
- Out of stock: a count of products with zero or fewer available units. Tap this tile to filter to them.
- Unavailable: the total number of damaged or held-back units. The sub-line reads "Damaged, held back from sale".
On a phone, two rows of tiles are compressed into one card. The counts for Low stock and Out of stock appear on the pills below instead (see Stock pills).
Stock pills
Below the tiles are three pills: All · Out of stock · Low stock. Tap Out of stock or Low stock to filter the table. The pill shows a count of products in each state. All returns the table to every product.
Search
Type a product name or SKU in the search box at the top right. The table filters to matching products as you type, searching name and SKU case-insensitively. The search happens about 300 ms after you stop typing.
Filters
Tap Filters to open a popover. You can:
- Location (if you have 2 or more active locations): switch to a different location. Stock figures and adjustments apply only to the location you choose. The button label changes to show which location you are viewing if it is not the default.
- Product type: filter to All · Simple · Variants (products with options).
- Only show (toggles, all options are shown together):
- Oversold — products with On hand below zero.
- Has unavailable units — products with damaged or held-back stock.
- Has reserved units — products with units promised to open orders.
- Missing SKU — products with no SKU set.
At the bottom of the Filters popover, Reset all clears the product type filter, all "Only show" toggles, and returns you to the default location (it does not clear search).
On phones, Filters only shows the "Only show" toggles; location and product type controls are not available.
Columns
On a phone, each product is shown as a card. On desktop, the table shows columns (you can hide some). The columns are:
- Product: the product name (or variant label and parent name for variants), plus a thumbnail.
- SKU: the product code you set, or "No SKU" if you left it blank. You can hide this column with the column menu.
- Available: a calculated number. When it is zero or less it shows as a red Out tag. When it is 1 to 5 it shows as an amber Low tag, plus the number. Above 5, the number alone.
- On hand: units physically there (can be negative).
- Reserved: units promised to open orders. Shows an em dash (—) when zero; turns amber above zero. You can hide this column.
- Unavailable: damaged or held-back units. Shows an em dash when zero; turns amber above zero. You can hide this column.
All product rows are sortable by clicking the column header. Sort by Product, SKU, Available, or On hand in ascending or descending order. The default sort is by Product (A to Z).
Row actions
Each row has a button and a menu.
- Adjust (only visible to editors): opens the form to change stock (Receive, Remove, Set count, or Unavailable). Underneath the form is a before-and-after preview.
...menu (visible to everyone):- History: opens a panel showing every stock movement for that product at this location.
- Transfer (only visible to editors with 2 or more active locations): opens a dialog to move units to another location.
Click a row to open the product details modal, where you can see the product's price, cost, photos, per-location stock, and the latest movements. From there, Edit takes you to the product editor.
Bulk selection
Below the product search, when you select products (checkboxes appear on the left only for editors), a bar shows how many you selected. A Edit quantities button (only visible to editors) opens the bulk editor, where you can edit stock for all selected products at once. On a phone, each product card has a checkbox; tap Edit quantities in the selection bar to open the bulk editor.
Count stock
On the right end of the toolbar (icon only on phones), a Count stock button appears for editors. This starts a stock count (stock take). The summary tiles and bulk bar disappear, replaced by a banner showing Counting · <location> and a count of how many products have been counted and how many need fixes. The On hand column becomes Counted, a text input. Type what you counted; Enter jumps to the next row. A green or red indicator shows the difference. When done, Save updates products that differ and shows how many were saved. If some fail, the failed rows stay for retrying.
On a phone, a slimmer header replaces the toolbar, with row-by-row Fewer / More steppers and a large tick button for each product.
Empty states
No inventory found — "Products with stock at this location will appear here." The location has products but none have been stocked yet.
No matching inventory — "Try adjusting or clearing your search and filters." Your search or filters found nothing.
Couldn't load inventory — A load error. Tap Retry.
Pagination and page size
At the bottom of the table, choose how many rows per page: 10, 20, 50, or 100 (default 20). The page shows a count: Page X of Y only when there is more than one page.
Phone layout
On a phone, there is no table. Instead, each product is a card showing the thumbnail, name (or variant label and parent), on hand and reserved counts below, the Available state as a tag, and an Adjust button (editors only). Tap the card to open the product details modal (where you can see History and Transfer as menu items). Swipe to scroll the card list.
Questions people ask
Why is Available different from On hand?
Available = On hand − Reserved − Unavailable. It is what you can sell right now. On hand is what you have, Reserved is what is promised to orders, and Unavailable is damaged or held back. If you have 100 on hand and 5 are reserved, only 95 are available.
Can I edit stock from this page?
Only in two ways. Tap Adjust to change stock one product at a time. Select multiple products and tap Edit quantities to edit them in a spreadsheet-style grid.
How do I see history for a product?
Tap the ... menu on a product row and select History. A panel slides from the right showing every stock movement (receives, removals, transfers, order statuses, returns). Each entry shows the change, who did it, when, and the reason.
What does "Reserved" mean?
Units reserved are promised to orders that have not yet shipped. The moment an order ships (Dispatched), those units are taken from On hand and the reservation is cleared. Do not sell reserved units.
